Automated Income Stream Start Up Kit
Chris Cobb
Chris Cobb is offering something called a ‘Automated Income Stream Start Up Kit’. This package DVD package is a freebie.
The idea is that his kit will show you how to make£15,000 - £37,000 a month using his moneymaking techniques.
The only catch, if any, is that you have to pay £9.95 upfront for postage and packaging.
One of my readers has tried this and received 3 DVDs called "AIS System - How to Make £15,000 - £37,000 a Month".
He writes:
“The problem was it didn't contain ‘his results and secrets and show you exactly how anyone can make £15,000 - £37,000 a Month’. You basically get 3 random DVDs copied directly from an old American Internet Marketers SuperConference (the Derek Gel ones). That don't actually teach you his system.”
This criticism aside, I can see where Mr Cobb is coming from. It’s okay to repackage motivational DVDs from other gurus and offer them as a gift. In fact, it’s a brilliant marketing strategy – and it’s exactly what you should be doing with any of those resell rights packages you have hanging about.
The idea is that you give away something for free and then “upsell” the customers to a more expensive service.
Nothing wrong with that at all.
The problem in this case is that the marketing led my reader to believe he would get Chris’s own specific money-making system.
I think this was why my reader felt a bit disappointed. He adds:
“If this was even a taster to get me going back for more, it wasn't very clever. The DVDs were badly done no presentation just cut straight in to the seminars, no intro or outro. Just a camcorder of part of a seminar... that was all 3 DVDs!”
This is a freebie, so none of the above should matter too much, except be aware that you won’t get the £9.95 package and postage back.
