The Secrets of Viral Marketing

Pulse International

I've had one reader complaining recently about "The Secrets
of Viral Marketing" which cost him £187 plus vat.

The sales promotion offered a full money back guarantee
offered with no conditions attached if returned within twelve
months.

My reader says:

"I tried very hard to market this product with no success and
eventually decided to return it. I sent it to Pulse International's
offices in Bristol via recorded delivery. After four weeks I had
heard nothing from them so I emailed. I received a reply from
David Tye whom I believe to be a director of Pulse International
who said that I should have notified him prior to sending the
product back and as I had not he had decided that there was to
be no refund."

When the readers refuted this, things seems to have gone from
bad to worse.

"I advised that this stipulation was not stated in the sales
literature. He said that it was and referred me to the sales site.
Upon reviewing this I found that the sales literature had been
changed to reflect this.

However I emailed him a copy of the literature that I bought the
product from which did NOT have this clause. He then said that
the product had not been received and I advised him that it had
been sent by recorded delivery. From that point I received no
replies to several emails."

I've given David Anderson's Home Cash Point System a
cautious thumbs up in the past. And I'm not casting aspersions
here. But I would like to help solve the problem.

So if anyone from Pulse International is reading this, I am
happy to pass on the readers' details so you can resolve this
situation. Hopefully, it's just a misunderstanding.

My view is that everyone in this business should be careful to
honour money back guarantees. If something is "unconditional"
it means NO conditions.
